Marian Rivera is one of the Philippines finest Filipina actress, dancer and commercial model! Her real name was Marian Rivera Gracia and her nickname according to her fans was Yan-yan. She was born on August 12, 1984 in Madrid, Spain by Amalia Rivera (Filipina from Cavite) and Francisco Javier Alonso Gracia (Spanish). Her parents separated when she was  2 years of old.

Marian Rivera was now new famous Filipina GMA7 Artist Center star. Rivera rose to fame for her title role in GMA 7  remake of the Mexican telenovela MariMar.

She plays Dyesebel after Marimar, a topless mermaid popular in Philippine folklore.
